Shortly after I moved to Chicago, Northwestern University head football coach Randy Walker died unexpectedly of a heart attack.
I attended a game the following season and they were handing these out at the gates.
I'm never going to wear it, yet I feel a certain bittersweetness giving something away that specifically commemorates a lost life. I'm giving this to a thrift store in Evanston, so I guess that's the best I can do.
