Thing #121: Chocolate-Stained Pink Tie

I bought this to wear to a wedding. My date, a bridesmaid, was required to wear a pink dress, and this was my show of solidarity. It actually looked pretty good on a blue shirt.

Then I splattered chocolate from the fondue fountain, right there on the tie. This was probably... 2006? I've kept the tie since then, thinking I'd take it to a dry cleaner to see if they could get the stains out.

Here in 2012, I've finally acknowledged that I'm never going to wear this particular tie again. If I need another pink tie, I'll buy another pink tie. It will probably cost about the same as the dry cleaning bill, anyway.
